I found out that I have a hole in the "crossover coolant hose" on my 95 XLT Special. The hole is in the portion of the hose that crosses under the motor. The ends of the hose are sort of under and in front of the footrest on each side. On the right (throttle) side the hose is right behind the brake assembly and looks like one would need really skinny (yet strong) fingers to do anything with it. Is there an easy way to replace this hose? What about using some sort of splice where the hose is ruptured (which is directly under the motor)? Anyone out there had this issue before? If so, how did you fix it?

Thanks,

You could cut the hose right on the hole and put in a splice fitting, or replace it, but have fun, they are a pain.
