Yes, the garage is small. Yes, my parents are getting frustrated that my skid shocks aren't back from being rebuilt. And the lighting is bad. And my camera isn't for digital stills. (it's a DV camera)

But here it is: 1992 Polaris INDY 440 XCR (liquid cooled)

Duct tape much like the force... it has a light side, a dark side.... and it holds the world together!

ah, nope. I think the dealer said it was a .9something. It's a factory Polaris track that they found up in their storage area. Never been used, and i got a deal on it, so i'm happy. I bought the sled from a friend, and it surprised the hell outta me. With that track before I took out the skid (again!) to have the shocks rebuilt, i drove it accross my front yard twice. It lifted the skis 6" off the grass for as long as I dared accross my front yard, and I only gave it 3/4 throttle to test it! Athough the rear suspension probably did help by being weak and squatting.

Nice looking sled! It seems to be in great shape for the year and miles. Puts the condition of my storm to shame!

Nice looking sled. If I remember correctly, those engines had quite a bit of spunk for their displacement! Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!
