This may be kind of a retarded question but i just bought a summit 800r I have the lower elevation pins in, the clutch starts to engage the track at about 4500 rpm where my 600 ho engages at about 3200 is it normal for my 800r to engage so much higher?

Each sled can engage at different RPM's due to clutch setups. Now, I can't tell you squat about clutching because I don't know anything about it, but I'll add that my Renegade engages at 4000 RPM.

4500 may be a little high, if you want to lower it you need to change the spring in your primary, but not a big deal. If you dont mind it being that high then just ride it.
