Hey, ive got a 1992 polaris rxl 650 fuel injection. the problem i am having is that the red light on the side of the computer is flashing and it is very hard to start because it is flooding. I counted the number of times it flashed (12) and i looked at the page of codes and it says there is something wrong with the crankcase temperature sensor. i am trying to figure out if i should buy a new sensor of if cleaning it could possibly work. anybody got any ideas? I have not pulled the sensor yet but i will tomarow so any help would be very helpful. Thanks

Buy a new one, the computer only sees the electrical resistance. It cannot see if it is "dirty". The only way it could be dirty is if the leads are corroded or disconnected. That should take careof your flooding issue as that sensor causes the computer to go into a safe mode.

There are several inline fuses, but none of them are directly inline with the sensor.
