Last winter my snowmobile took in a small washer or some type a small metal object, and it bounced around in the reeds s bit before it proceeded to trash my engine. Anyways, here is a picture of the reed, think it's ok to just throw back in or should I re-coat the spots where bare metal is showing? And if so, anyone have any idea on what to use? Something that wont get eaten away by gas?

Kinda hard to see in the pic but if you are talking about the petal divider dont worry about it. I would be more concerned about the reeds themselves, looks like they are chipped on outer sealing edge.

That picture is with the reeds out, and sorry about the poor quality, it took me about 10 shots just to get that one...my camera isn't the greatest. It is the pedal dividers I'm talking about.

Wow , I totally missed that the reeds were out, no wonder I couldnt figure out why it looked that way... You will be fine to run it the way it is.
