What I want to do is build a seat riser for my 99 Mach z ck3 chassis. I would like to buy a new seat but my funds are real low rite now.
I was thinking of building one that was 3" tall at the back. Im not worried about looks I just want a little better seat position because I'm a tall guy.

I was just wondering if any of you guys have made one? If so any tips on how to build it would be great!

The first seat pictured is the only one that is useful. Just have to add foam and get a larger piece of top vinyl for your butt.

I think this is the better one, (for the adding foam aspect):

Here is my prototype I'm working on, it will raise the seat about 4-5 inches over stock and give it 3-5 inches of vertical travel:

Otherwise companies sell "seat wedge"s that is a wedge between the seat and tunnel to raise the rear of the seat 3 inches. And then you can always spend $300 for a used Pro-X shorty seat which has a ~4inch riser over a regular seat

Ill c if I can find some pics of my uncles sleds. But from what I remember they just used wood, they made shims and painted them the same color as the seat. Its kind of hard to see, but on the grey formula ski doo there is a spacer, that is about 3 inches at the end. Its just a wooden shim. Im not sure how he fastened it to the tunnel. I have ridden the sled though and there is nothing wrong with it this way.
