greetings, my question is on a rupp nitro 440. thing runs great lots of power. tops out about 55 but still has more power to use. now on the side of the secondary clutch there a five numbers with holes for the spring to seat in, right now its on number 4. if you change the number with the secondary open more letting it go faster.

Since nobody commented ill throw in my 2€
Not sure how Rupp clutches work but changing the spring tension is goin to effect ur shift characteristics, u might be able to squeeze a couple mph playing with it but if the sled is geared for a top speed its not goin to go any faster unless u dig into the gears. My suggestion is play with it if its easy for u to do. Trial and error my friend. I know a guy out here that had a Rupp dealership and raced n tuned rupps i can help u get in touch with him and he can maybe give u some pointers and maybe know where to get parts. Ill inbox you his info.
