Well I finished up my end of the ride at 11:30 last night after leaving the other members of SF and heading back to my friends house with him.

We meet up at 10:30-11 at the Wabeno Citgo gas station and picked out a route. We tried to pick one with the smoothest trails and less traffic. They had a Poker Run going on south so we stayed away from them trails. We set out from Wabeno and headed up towards laona making our way around towards Crandon. We then made our way back on the loope towards laona hitting Cavour.
We noticed that Dave had fallen back and wasn't with us. So we waited up for him and noticed that Dave's Friend Mike had lost his thing's that he had stored in his cooler. When they caught up with us they told us what happened and we had a good laugh. We then left Cavour and head up towards Newald making our way towards Armstrong. After fueling up in Armstrong we then headed up towards Fence making our way up to Florence. We fueled up again in florence and headed over to Auoroa then down to Goodman. We stopped at the 8 HI club for all you can eat pizza night and relaxed a bit.
We then fueled up and head down towards blackwell making our way over to Wabeno. Hit a freshly groomed trail that Roger had groomed and just set a slower relaxing speed and took it nice and easy.

After making it to Wabeno we all went out seperate ways. I fueled up and headed back to Goodman with my friend and his parents whom had joined up with us after eating. By the time I had go back to Goodman my friend trip meter said we had put on 300 miles.

So I logged in 300 miles and the other SF members should have about 275 miles or so all from one day of riding. Not to bad!

We also took the guys on some off trail riding on back roads and old trails from years ago. Lots of powder and drifts to hit and some hills and so on. That was a blast, as it was good to get of the trails a bit.

Im at a friends house right now with Dial up connection so I wont beable to post any pic's as it would take for ever. I didn't really snap any good pic's as we where to busy riding. So I took a few when we had stopped thats about it.

Im sure Indy400_88(Dave) and woodeye(Chuck) will post on how things went when they get back.

The only pic's I have and not the best. To busy riding and talking to take pictures. Hopefully next time!

Dave and Chuck do you remember that 1st stop we made at that lake that was on the left side of us. Right before that we had the yellow Ski-doo Rev pass us who had I believe two guys behind him. Dave you let the one pass you up and he went slower then you. We then passed that guy on the Rev right at the stop sign as he waited for his friends.

Turns out that guy on the Rev is a guy I know, he thought it was me but wasn't sure. He went up the same way we did and would have road with us along with the friends he had with. Looks like all have to get a big sticker for the windshield so everyone can spot me easier.

all let you know Chuck. I plan to drive up thursday and look my sled over. Im having some small issues that I want to look at. The amount of oil im using is one, it doesn't seem right. The pumps set way to rich. We want to hit Sliver Cliff on Saturday, heck thats even closer to you guy's. Usually I go back on Sunday's, but If my buddy stays and rides sunday I will most likely stay too. I might as well ride while I can you never know when its gonna melt.

Sounds good. I would love to ride on Saturday but I have to work with all the switching I've done. Let me know even if Mike wants to ride if you have to head back. You're right, gotta ride while the snow is good.

I just talked to him and he said he can only spend about 30.00 thats not much for gas let alone for a good long ride. He's saving for a Michigan trip. So im not sure what the heck we are gonna do. So hard to find someone to ride with at times, and other times we have tons
