I recently pulled the rear suspension from my father's 99' Trail Touring to replace the factory Arvin shocks with rebuilt fox shocks. The new fox shock for the rear I purchased from a local guy, the center to center matches, and everything is great. The new fox shock for the front of the rear skid I purchased online. I gave the guy the year, model, and suspension of the sled I am dealing with. I received the shock today and it is 10 1/2" and the old Arvin shock was 11". Can someone tell me if this is going to give me any problems? The sled is 3 hours away and I would like to put the suspension back in next weekend with no surprises.

P.S. I accidentally posted this question in the Polaris section as well. Sorry for duplicating. If someone can tell me how to delete a post more than 30 minutes old I'll glady take care of it.
