Then you don't know the rediculace prices sleds are selling for around my neck of the woods[B)] A 98 formula 500 "fair condition" 3500$ 91 sport 440 1500$ 95 skandic $5000. The prices around me are rediculace so around here someone would probly be trying to get atleast 2500$

Thats rediculace. 3 grand for a 93? Don't do it. I bought a 98 powder special for 1000$ And had to tear the engine apart and clean metal shavings out of the crank and put 265$ into it so far and that should be about it. So about 1265$ for a 98, new foxs all arouns and a newer 1.75in lug track. Try and find a better deal than that. (that isn't a dealer it you getting screwed out of hard earned cash). Because there IS one out there, trust me, you just need to find it.

Prices here are high but not that high. Friend just sold a 95 VMax 600 dx for 1500. Maybe 3000 if it had a genesis engine. Even 1200 is a bit high. Keep looking. Should be loads of sleds for sale this time of year.

Guys, In Canada our prices are way higher, thats why so many of us like to cross border shop.

In canada, that 93, this time of yr he could probably get 1700.00 for it now thats there is snow on the ground. 3000.00 is absoloutely retarded. Like our American posters are stating that sled in the USA would sell for 1000.00 if not less, they are a dime a dozen there.

Last yr, I picked up my father in law a 1999 Indy touring classic, MIBT shape 2100miles for 2300.00USD.

Good Luck, Pass on that one.

If you want to spend 3000.00 on a sled, I will sell u my 1996 xlt, clutched, piped, the works.

No Fox shocks, 588cc, and 88 HP.

Personally I wouldn't pay more than $400.

At Haydays I bought a 95 XLT with USI plastic skis, triple pipes, fox shocks, and with 3300 miles for $500.

thats worth a little more than a grand at most, my dad bought a mint one a few years ago with triple pipes and clutch work for 1100. ran for two years to 9000 miles then the crank snapped wide open across a lake

From now on people who dont know the value of sleds in the area shouldnt respond. If you put that sled up for sale anywhere in canada for under $1000 it would be gone within hours. For under 800 you would be hard pressed to find any decent sled let alone one newer than 85.
