Skag warning

Thought I would tell another story. I got a million of em. One time while at the winter carnival at a northern Ontario lake I was involved in the festivities all afternoon. Drags speed runs ect. I had purchased and installed a new set of skags before the trip. When every thing was finished we started to head back across the lake. My freind took off ahead of me and accellerated up to his full speed. 78mph. I had a bigger machine(go figure) and quickly caught and passed him. I was riding looking back with one hand on the bar the other one giving my freind the thumbs down when the next thing I know im flying through the air minus my snowmobile. The new skag had broken on the bend and sprung down catching in the ice and ripping the machine out from under me. I did the Funky Chicken across the lake for what seemed like for ever. We paced out the dents in the snow and I went 130 paces. About three hundred and ninety feet. I Appearently tucked into a ball and basically just bounced till I stopped. I remember landin on my head alot. I think thats why I walked away just bruised and confused. Very achey the next day.

Sorry that is a carbide ski runner and it broke about 8 inches ahead of the bolt and folded straight down I guess it was like throwing out an anchor at 80+ mph.
Oh HAHAHA I can just picture that! lol!

Ouch. When did that happen?

Ready to Ride...NEED SNOW!!!!!!...if you have snow, i hate you...
That was early nineties. I went back to the Manufacturer and complained saying one twist the wrong way and it would have been my laywer here. because I would have been six feet under. They accepted no responsibility.and wouldnt even replace the broken runner. Needless to say Ive never bought another one of their products. And have tried to stop all my freinds from as well.
What product did that?

Am I allowed to say names written down in public that slams a paticular product in this way ? Iwould love to tell the world but what about legalities. It was the biggest manufacturer of carbides and traction products in Canada.
you are absolutely allow to do that, it's just like saying your engine blew on your polaris or something. Power to the people my friend, it's called free speech.

Roetin traction products. The Skag broke and you could see the metal was like crystalized. There was an obvious defect and they wouldnt do any thing about.
