Hello All..

Was on a ride Friday when my right ski hit a block of ice....I was going very slow when I hit but it was enough to make the ski turn very tight to the left. When I proceded I noticed my sterring was not center as I had to steer with the left side of my handle bars towards the windshead (about an 1.5 inch off.

My question is - Can I fix this myself? I noticed a bolt type adjusting clamp around both skis (98 SLE SKI-DOO). Can I just loosen this and move the ski to the left then tighten?

Thx
Rob.

Hi Rob, I think you may have bent one of your steering arms. If your skis are both still tracking srtaight i will most likely be the one that is under the motor./snofan/../images/users/sleddaver/1234D5.gif
See picture, item 12.
Hope this helps, Dave.

Dave,

Thx for the pic!

The right ski is NOT tracking correctly...it's tip points in to the left a bit.

Can the right ski just be adjusted?

Cheers
