Hey all back again with a quick question! I just bought a polaris skid plate for my 00' rmk and it came with now hardware or instructions. I just need to know if any of you put one on before and can tell me what hardware I need and how exactly to go about putting it on.

Thanks Big J!!!!!!

Just drill holes into the frame and rivet it up there...some skidplates have bolts holding it up on the slope though.......

This one lines up with the holes in the bottom of pan!The holes are to big for rivets and you cant get to them because engine is in way! I dont want to pull the engine just to put a skid plate on!

The Gen II skid plates have a special mounting kit that comes with them. There are 4 female threaded inserts that you put into the bulkhead with a special tool they give you that expands them so they stay in the holes. Then then you put in the screws. Also, 2 screws and nuts for mounting to front of the belly pan.
