well before the snow left we got the wildcat i bought from a buddy of mine running right with a bit of jetting and some fresh clutch springs, i'd like to find a way to shave some weight especially in the front. Possibly some aluminum skinning or some different more modern parts. also something a lil more radical in the clutching dept. any help is greatly appreciated thanks

Your best upgrade is the rear suspension. A 97 or newer will give a better ride and also add some lift the the front end. Put some plastic skis on there and you should be good.
If you want to go farther, you can put the A-arms from that same year range on it too.

01-02 ZR TSL skids are the lightest.
Not a real easy front end mod to do on that.
