my friends and i are thinking about restarting our local club, exsept playin with the name a little, but dont know if it will ever happen heres what we came up with for a name: boone river a.b.a's
(boone river american badasses snowmobile club)
I just joined the Richmond Trailblazers in Northern IL. We finally had some snow last year, and they did a great job grooming. I figure I would at least like to help them with some gas money for the groomer. There is a trail re-route right near my neighborhood. They are building a new bridge Sunday. My neighbor and I are helping out. I fell really good about it. I am also joining another local club, and maybe some others where I ride alot. I appreciate so much the time people take, especially the volunteer groomers. I always buy them a drink and thank them when I talk to them in a trailside establishment. What would the trails be like without them? I urge everyone to join a snowmobile club, or two!
I want to ride every day, all day, as fast as I can.
i recently joined a club in west salem wisconsin. Its called the ridge runners. It was only 10 bucks to get into so i thought ohh what the hell. besides if you ride the trails, its just curtious to help out with the cost of grooming and all the other crap.
Everyone should join a club. Thet get land owner permission to build new trails, they build bridges, cut and brush out trails. With out the clubs there would be fewer trails to ride. It also is a great social time and you make new riding friends.
I belong to PSSA(pa state snowmobile assn) but id like to know what u have to do to form ur own club. About 18 people i ride with said if i figure it out they will join. can any one tell me what to do?
I joined the local club this summer
'The Winnebago Snow Gliders'. They did such a great job of taking care of the trails last year I felt obligated to help this year. We will be marking the trails the weekend after Thanksgiving.
Support a club any way you can.
The more people that join the more voices that are heard when it comes to receiving state and federal funding for our sport.
I've been trying to figure out through the search and even google,
so far though I have an idea... any snowmobile that is older, especially 90's and circa 2000, that is modded up seems to be called a beater?
I just got property that is not year round access - but I think beater sleds are my...
So I am building a small buggy style vehicle and I am using a two stroke Ski doo engine for it.
Never owned a snowmobile or messed with one before so I had a few questions.
Firstly, where can I find a good wiring diagram for the donor sled so that I can incorperate everything back into the...
Just curious what’s everyone riding nowadays, older members, new members doesn’t matter! How do you like it? I finally upgraded from an 02 Polaris XC 500 I’ve had for over 8 years to a 2012 Yamaha nytro mtx and wow was I shocked...
New forum user and new snowmobile owner here. I've bought 1998 Polaris Trail Touring. When I brought it home I noticed unexpected item attached with fishing swivel to the gas level stick. My first thought was that it was fuel pickup filter but it doesn't have a connector for the...
I have a 2004 Polaris 600 RMK vertical edge. Ran it for the past 2 winters with no problems. Recently it starts fine but then after about 10 - 15 minutes of riding it loses power, bogs down and dies. It will restart right after it dies, if I let it sit for a few mins and runs fine for a few...
