I put the drive belt this morning, fell apart in one day.Terrible quality.
It was bought on ebay only need $9.99,I got what I paid.
Where to find high performance snowmobile drive belt for my 2000 yamaha srx 700?
I find Hex Auto Parts has drive belt replacement for sale, which price is about $30 with free shipping.
Besides ebay and Amazon, have you ever try online shop for buying parts for your snowmobile ?
Any recommendations ?
Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. Are you new to the sport?

It sounds like you did indeed get your money's worth from that belt. I am a fan of OEM belts, especially on the higher horsepower sleds. You are looking at $100+ for a quality belt. I would also purchase a second one to have stowed away as a spare. I know there are some other good belts out there and maybe other guys will chime in with their results. Don't skimp out on a belt.

Since you need two belts anyway, lots of mountain riders use Dayco's. They will replace a destroyed belt for free within one year of purchase. If you are an aggressive rider, they won't last that long. Makes for an almost endless supply of new belts.

But ---Yamaha belts are the best by far!
