hey guys i have a question i have a 04 pro x 550 and when i put it in reverse the track spins like crazy is there something wrong or do i just need to put studs on cause im buying some this week and if theres any good suggestions on studs like sould i get ones that are longer than the lugs or what .THANKS

i would think u just need studs. think about if your skid frame was reversed imagine wat it would be like driving it with that idler wheel in the front. pretty much no angle of attack thus causing it to spin and dig down. thats wat i'm guessing the problem is

You are also dragging your ski's backwards. Nothings wrong with it though. Studs won't really help with the soft snow, just hard pack, ice, and dirt.

Studs should always be longer then the lug, otherwise what's the point.

When your i reverse your pulling the weight of the sled there for more spin, when your going forward your pushing the sled so its harder for the track to spin. also studs will greatly improve the sled on hardpack.it will wheelie my old 01 xcf with a 550 did.
