here's one of the stange things that went on that day, brad went up the hill came down and hit a soft spot coming off the road which caused him to go over the bars and got run over by his sled,he was not hurt but had a face full of snow and was able to get his lid off before we got to him to lift the sled off,as a bonus he had more trouble getting his helmet out of the tree well it rolled down into. https://youtu.be/YiIt15KT4w4
well another great ride yesterday, had to drive another 2 miles in to get to the snow line or about the 4000 foot level, the snow level at the cabin has not gone down much its was about 6 foot 5 on the marker pole, went exploring around to find a snow bridge across the creek to go play in the far bowl from the cabin with some success.
well this weekend we tried to make it to honeymoon but we had to clear the rocks off the road at the cliffs at 12k,got that done now on to the mudslide at 13k i had to nose my truck into it to chain on to some boulders to pull them out and we got them out of the way and i drove thru, the next truck got stuck and really made a mess of it ended up we had to winch him back out, after that it was decided to bail out of there and i had to use the ram portion of my dodge to get back thru,so back up to the cabin and with the warm temps we had last week 30c alot of our bridges were gone so we had to work around them, got to the cabin and still 5 feet of snow there, got up to the lakes rode around and had a great day.
well folks got out for another ride and we made it to honeymoon, great day riding lots of hills to to play on weather was more than great but this is my last ride of the season time to switch gears to rockhounding,so keep the rubber side down and see you next season.
