I have a 95 Polaris Indy Classic touring sled. I took it out for the first time yesterday. The skis seem very squirrely on ice and packed powder. The only time it rode steady was in the powder. The handle bars seem to buffet from side to side, and it doesn't seem to track straight ahead. Once again, this is worse on harder surfaces. When I turn sharply, it just keeps going straight unless I slow to a crawl. It has stock skis with plastic ski skins. Any suggestions? Thanks, JH

tighten the rear springs and or the front limiter strap and see if that helps. If the machine started doing this on its own with no other changes chances are something is siezed in your skid frame. Likely the front shaft.
