Wondering if anyone has a rough number for how much clearance you should have between studs and the front heat exchanger? Putting a 1.75" snow-x track on a 04 rev 500ss studs are about 2" and I got about 1/4"-3/8" between the studs and the front heat exchanger. I think its to close but I'm not sure. What do you guys think. I'm leaning toward taking them back out even though I don't want to waste all that time.

I think thats too close. when that track swells with speed i beleive it would hit. I put a 1 1/4" on my 440 and have 3/4" between track and front cooler. I didnt put studs in. Afraid to hit cooler.

Thats what I thought. I don't want to risk it. Its not my sled and I don't want the guy to bring it back and blame me and try to get me to replace his melted motor. Just going to have to tell him the studs are a no go unless he wants to buy smaller drivers.
