I have a 94 Polaris 650 RXL Triple, on the panel where the key goes I have my heater switch, High and Low, Key hole and I also have this little tiny button about the size of a pencil eraser that is gray and covered in rubber. It is a little push button type switch, toggle maybe. Can anyone let me know what this may be? Does not seem to do anything that I have noticed anyway.

maybe its for ethanol gas or no ethanol gas the new f7 from ac has a switch on its dash for ethanol or no ethanol

it could possibly be a disconnected tether strap switch

I think Bob is on the money.. That's where my tether is on my 650 and it looks exactly as you described..

because if it WAS connected than it would cut the power from the engine just ilke the kill switch.

I have heard of some of them having an enricher kit maybe thats what it is.

I'm not sure but I don't think that the enricher would be that kind of switch...
