You will definitely save some weight on that tank by going to a plastic ski. I picked up a brand new pair of OEM Polaris skiis for my wifes sled on ebay for $120.00. They are $120.00 each from Polaris. Like Matt said, go on ebay, they are there for the best deal.

Before i sold my XCR 600, i put plastic skis on them. I weighed them. The stock steel skis weighed 12 lbs. each so thats 24 lbs. total!!! I put on some polaris composite skis and they weighed in at about 6 lbs. each. So by simply swapping skis you've removed 12 lbs. off your sled! Not only that, but they usually perform better too.
I highly recommend getting rid of steel skis. Oh, i paid $100 a pair at Haydays.

Ask, and ye shall recieve:

www.purepolaris.com

Ahhhhhhh.......stupid computer...........it won't let me link you right to the specific section. Just go to this link and click on the snowmobile section, then navigate to snow accessories, then click on customize skies. They're in there.

It is very easy to do that. copy and paste URL and put URL tags in yer post.

the ( ) things screw up the auto-url thing so u just gotta type

http://www.howdy.com/foo.aspx?howdy(stuff)foo

it will come up messed up but if u add

[ url ] http://www.howdy.com/foo.aspx?howdy(stuff)foo [ /url ] then it will be a complete link (without the spaces of course)

http://www.howdy.com/foo.aspx?howdy(stuff)foo
