315-376-8013 I would give that number a call. It is D&D Racing, they deal with Cats and every cat guy I know runs straight D&D stuff. I don't know if they have anything for the ZL 800 EFI yet. Give them a rign they can tell you. I have heard about it being difficult just to open the EFI box to change the chip. If this is true I would be very upset with Cat for not allowing someone to modify a sled. A chip would probably help out of the hole or a torque pipe. Twins will help up top but not as much down bottom.
One of the easiest things to do is to add a torque stop. For some reason around my parts no body bothers with this simple modification. When I put mine on, the hole shot improved alot. traction was now the problem.
You can not chip the 02 EFI's. Reeds and a clutch kit is about all you really can do to them. They are meant to run perfect all day every day on the stock configuration. If you try to mod it more than reeds you WILL burn up your engine.

if you put twins on you will cause it will be giving the fuel for the single pipe and there will be more aka real lean. I hate that Cat locked the box. That is really freaking gay.
Well not really when you can buy the carb if you want to mod....That is the idea, give riders a choice and maximize the performance for each application specifically. By them sealing the box they can up the reliability of the entire unit.
