how do you guys like to have your suspension setup? i'm guessing that the best set up for powder is to have everything under the track set to its stiffest positions, and the front springs soft. any other opinions or theories?
i think its just the opposite of what u asked
my 03 sks is made for deep powder and the rear shock came set up so soft it wasnt even funny, and if you tighten your front springs i think it will give u better turnning ability..but who knows i could be wrong
I would say fairly soft on the rear, and somewhere in the middle for the front. If your front springs are to tight they won't get up on the snow, also if the back is to tight all your gonna do is trench.....you gotta find the happy medium IMO.
Alaskangold is right the more weight shift you have (when the skis lift off on hard pack) the better you can go in the deep stuff. There is a trade off in being able to steer well on the trails. You just need to play with it for a while to find what works the best for you.
