Good luck on your upcoming race. I would love to race the junior class but I don't have the money. Anyways I might see you race this year if you come up to the race in Malone, NY.

from what i can tell it doesnt' look like malone is a race for me. that's a different division of rock maple. if i were semi-pro or pro i'd be there for that.

looks to me like my schedule is

dec
9-10 Windham Mountain - Windham, NY
16-17 Pit-X - Verona, NY

jan
20-21 Oswego Speedway - Oswego, NY
27-28 Gerry Rodeo Grounds - Jamestown, NY

feb
10-11 Turning Stone Casino - Vernon, NY - may or may not make it to this one. leaving for snowmobile trip on 12th.
17-18 Wyoming Cty/Intl. Speedway - Perry, NY - won't be at this because i'll still be on the snowmobile trip in maine.

mar
10-11 McCauley Mountain - Old Forge, NY
17-18 Toggenburg Mountain - Fabius, NY
24-25 Big Boulder Ski Area - Lake Harmony, PA

Congrats 515,we might practice Sunday. We are on generator power right now.Something about a tornadoe in the area.I think it went threw at "5:.15".You will grow a custom to that generator sound.I faxed in Mitchells advancement papers today for the 16-17 class. He just turned 14 but he will do fine in the upper class.

Then I guess I won't be seeing you race in Malone. Maybe I'll go to Oswego because I have grandparents not to far from there so maybe I can convince my dad to go to that race that is if there isnt ridable snow somewhere if there is I'll be putting on the miles.

Hey good luck bro! If you wanna do well you need to have big huge balls. Especially on the holeshot. Thats where as soon as the flag twitches you go like a bat outta hell, ram bam slam your way into the corner and take off outta there like the grim reapers on your ass! And if your lucky you will be in first. Also I assume you will be rocking the Pro-XR, which is similar to the IQ like I have. On the line you do NOT want to idle at all. That loses your pipe heat super fast, try to keep it around 4 grand. Also when I am on the line I use the hot button just a little bit, too much will blow your reeds though. And for the jumps you just gotta sack up and hit em if you can.

actually if your gonna use the button make sure its jetted right.. (although my 04 pro xr 440 still hit the second stage fine with stock 290's in it, i dunno y but it did) youll no its jetted right if when you hold the dragon button it should go from the first stage of retarding to the second stage within 10-15 seconds.... if its jetted to rich it will either take forever to hit second stage or wont all together... you can hold it on the second stage as long as you want its not hard on the reeds... (polaris actually tested this on a 03 they taped the throttle and dragon button both on and ran a whoel 5 gallons of gas through it and the reeds were fine, but it burnt a hole in the ashphalt at the race shop it got soo hot!!!) what is hard on the reeds is if you dont have it jetted right and it stays on the first stage too long....

dont be afraid to use that button to keep it hot

the 2 stages are easy to tell apart the first has big pops and bangs and sputters as the second will be a much more crisp, and nimble rev limiter sound...
