I finally did what I always wanted to do. I took my 96 Arctic Cat skid and track and stuck it under my Apollo. I had to change out the driveshaft and move the sprockets over. Also took it out for a spin though the alleys and it drives awesome. Oh ye and it can do wheelies!!!!!!!!

Got a couple more pictures. Took it for about a 20 mile ditchbanging testdrive yesterday. It went great the rear suspension is so smooth but i cant say that for those leaf spings in the front and it is a good vintage powder sled. The front just stays on top of the powder. Now i just need a bigger motor even tho its powerful for a 340.

I got the sled from my uncle and the cover probably just sat in his pole barn

some pogo shocks off a phazer would be cool on the front, that would help with your lack of suspension.

that thing is awesome ive always wanted to make a rediculous sled like that with big bar risers and pimp it all out, i wanted to take the rear skid out of my 97 v max and put it all into my 81 enticer 300 this year but i got laid off and had to sell them both. nice sled tho i love it.

its the old standard 8 inch, but I would probably be better off getting an X10 at haydays or something

I used a 96 arctic cat drive shaft and sprockets. On the drive sprokets there is a metal ban around them so they dont move I cut the metal ban off so i could line them up with the track. I dont remember how much I moved the sprockets over. I just put the drive shaft in with the track and lined them up. The drive shaft was a little long but some spacers fixed that as you can see in one of the pictures and it has held up fine.
