a 440 motor out of a tx would be awesome they have a ton of power for a fannerVintage_Sledneck said:Got a couple more pictures. Took it for about a 20 mile ditchbanging testdrive yesterday. It went great the rear suspension is so smooth but i cant say that for those leaf spings in the front and it is a good vintage powder sled. The front just stays on top of the powder. Now i just need a bigger motor even tho its powerful for a 340.
I used a 96 arctic cat drive shaft and sprockets. On the drive sprokets there is a metal ban around them so they dont move I cut the metal ban off so i could line them up with the track. I dont remember how much I moved the sprockets over. I just put the drive shaft in with the track and lined them up. The drive shaft was a little long but some spacers fixed that as you can see in one of the pictures and it has held up fine.apollo said:i was wodering what drive shaft you used and what sprocket you used and how u lined it up im trying to do the to my apollo right now with little luck
