Don't run ethanol. It's evil.

Run either regular normal gas, with Isopropyl as a gas line de-icer if you wish so, or run premium.

I always run premium, but race sleds require higher octane.

Did you know?
87 octane gas in Canada is equivalant to 89 octane gas in the United States.

Apparently so.

We have taken multiple trips to the US, and when we run 87 octane, we notice a significant power loss in our vehicle (1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee) Wheras with Canadian 87 octane it works fine, so I did some research and apparently the difference in the way it's refined gives our 87 more power. I was awed when I found that out.
