Ok, I think I finally have the majority of the parts to begin putting this toilet back together. The only thing left attached and un-molested is the front suspension(except the shocks are at the shop being done). My son is here for the holidays and would love to have some breathing from her by the 31st. Here are a few pictures, I will post more over the next two weeks as we continue on.

Well, I am 90% complete. The Engine is in, clutches are aligned, exhaust is in, carbs are rough set, cowling is on....ETC. I will post some updated pics later. I have run the engine and so far so good.

Well, I put about 50 miles on it yesterday, a little carb adjustment here and there and so far so good. I knew that it wasn't going to be a trail sled at all, and after riding yesterday I was right. With that track it sounds like I have super swampers on it going over anything groomed. I still need to get some ski's those old steel polaris ski's are terrible, but I will keep searching for something better, I already could have bought a new sled for what I dumped into this one, but it was fun and is a blast on the unblazed power lines. So now I have my ditch banger and my two trail sleds and we actually have some great snow.

Awesome looking sled! I love doing projects like that especially when they turn out well. Hope you get a lot of good riding out of her.

Well, I rode this weekend and she locked up on me, not sure if it was lack of oil or overheat. I will tear it down today and see what happened.

Ok, not as bad as I first thought. A little more investigation when I got her off the trailer revealed a ton of belt dressing. So I took a belt measurement ad it was just a lttle skinny. I pulled the primary and low and behold there was a strand of belt wrapped around the crank. So as of now, I just need to replace the crank seal. I have never seen a belt just loose just a thin strand like that.
