I have the powermadd installed on one of my 2002 800 RMK, I don't like it.

Has anyone simply purchased a longer throttlr cable and installed it? I have a 2003 800 rmk and the throttle adjustment is not an issue...but I am unsure of the oil cable adjustment.

Help!
Thank you

I purchased the extended throttle cables & installed them on my RMK 700. It was easy, and they work great. Adjust your oil pump where the mark on the oil pump arm lines up with the mark on the pump body at idle and you should be good.

I'm curious why you don't like your powermadd extensions?? I've got the same that I installed last year and have no issues.

Reason's I don't like it:

I find the slide portion large and bulky.

I have been out once with it. Twice when I stopped in high cold winds and the sled sat...I found the throttle stuck / frozen? not sure. With pressure it broke free...worked fine without a hitch both times. The cable isn't kinked and it's covered (the gap that normally is left after rising the bar on a RMK. The slide portion is in the heat shrink tubing and tie warpped.

Any idea's. It's tough not trusting it.
