Its time to replace the skegs on my Zr 440 Sno pro. I recently installed 144 studa and the carbides were not adequite. So the question is 8 or 10 inch carbides?
I ride very aggresive. Can there ever be too much carbide??
Thanks-

All we need is the magical ingrediant...Snow

Yes, there can be too much carbide IMO. I wouldn't go more than 8" if that's your limit. I have found that running long carbides makes them wear unevenly and you end up replacing them regardless, because either the front or the center of it wears down to a flat spot. I used to run 10 and 8, now i always use 6". Longer carbide also increases the steering effort alot.

Just my $.02
