Here is the latest on the toboggan constuction.
She's been painted and the padded seats are installed.

The backrests fold down so it can be stored upsidedown on the trailer.
/snofan/../images/users/500fasEnuf/boggan2.jpg

Also fixed the angle on the leading edge to have less of a curve,
this should not plow snow.

All that is left is the hitch and canopy......will post updates later.

Heeeeeyyyy........cup holders.......good idea SH

Miged up the hitch for the toboggan, and installed the bumper
hitch on the XC this weekend.
Boy....50 bucks doesn't go very far at the local Polaris dealer, bought
the Polaris hitch to keep the XC factory looking.

Looks great!

Do you have some handles on that thing for the rider to hang on to? Mabye you already do, but i couldn't see them...
If i was being pulled behind a snowmobile at warp speed, i sure would want some handles....LOL

Hey MM,
Yeah, either handles or seatbelts, or both, haven't decided.
Dad's biggest concern.........where to put the trail lunch.
Usually grilled ham and cheese done in those sandwich makers
designed to be cooked over a camp fire, works great.
Below is a picture of me with my son and nephew after lunch, (dad taking pic)
the boys always seem to fall asleep right after lunch,
sure hard to ride one-handed with a kid sleeping in front of you.
The toboggan should help with this.

Either way, warp speed will have to be 40 mph. or less.
After all........my moto is........(see below)

Make a camp fire out of dead-fall.
Here is a shot of Dad cooking a grill cheese at one of our trail lunches.
Taken near a lakeshore in the Wildcat Hills in northern Saskatchewan.

Nothing warms you up like a hot sandwich and hot chocolate.
Incidently, hot chocolate made with stainless steele bartenders
shaker with a 3' chain to hold on to it with, works great.
