I have read several break in procedures after replacing pistons, My quetion is If i do the rebuild now I wont be able to drive the sled no snow left.
How should I break this in without driving it just to know the job is ok and then to summerize the sled for next year? Can I fog the cylinders and continue witht with the break in next winter?

That is essentially what I did last spring when we had the wifes sled rebuilt. I did start the engine, got it hot, cooled it down and checked that the base and head bolts were still torqued to spec.

I did it that way so that I would not "forget" the next winter.

Then I summerized it.

Others may have another opinion just like what to do for break in.
