The 96 and 98 ultras didn't have the torsion bar. Why does mine? It won't stay in the trailing arm and I don't know how to adjust the from suspension to keep it in. Can I remove it?

If the torsion bar falls out of the trailing arm, it means that your ski-stance was messed with and that they decided to try and widen it. You need to shorten up the radius rods so that the skis come closer together. Make sure to keep the camber the same by shortening the top and bottom rods the same amount. If you do any trail riding, I would recommend keeping it in.

They all have one. The 96 didn't have true xtra 10 suspension. Someone probably put the front end off a 97+ in there but didn't change the sway bar.
