I want to put on a 136" track on my 95 polaris xcr 600 but I need to know what the pitch should be? I think it should be 2.52 but not sure? also how big of a lug can I put on without any real mods? It now has a 121" X .750" lug track? any help would be great!
London Ontario got 40" of snow on thursday night and I got out for my first ride on the weekend! Sweet!!!

Well to answer your first question it's a 2.52" Pitch. Next question, I've heard tons of answers to. I think I've heard a 1.5" lug is fine, and I've heard some say they had to mod to get a 1.25" track on there. If I were you, I wouldn't rely on hear say and I'd get down under the sled and measure between the front exchanger and the drivers and then measure from the top of the track to the tunnel and see what you get.

I have a 1995 XLT SKS it came with a 1.5" track and 8 tooth drivers. I could not use the 1.5" with 9 tooth drivers. Later I put on a 1.25" track and then went to 9 tooth drivers.
