my old cat has the orignal style studs that used t-nuts and studs they are bent and worn, is it possable to put in push through studs where these old worn studs were? also the track is 3/4" overall height, so what size studs will i need? has anyone used these nylon style backers if so how well do they work? just need some opinions on what to do?

As long as the holes aren't ripped and they are the same size diameter as the new studs, I'd think it would be fine to put push throughs in.

Go to this link, it will tell you everything.

As for the nylon backers, I have the nylon composite diamond head backers on my sled. I've only got 260 miles on them so far, but haven't had any problems yet. I believe they're a sound investment.
