Found a 2004 switchback 700 guy will trade me straight up for my 2002 edgex 600, switchback has 2800 miles on it, mine has 4300 switchback also has full slp exhuast sound like a good deal?

"Take the deal" is right! The switchback is worth more not only because it's a year newer..but because it has less miles. Make sure it runs as well(or better) as your edge does though[thumb]

If you can get the VIN from the guy and have the DNR run it, he could just be trying to get rid of a hot sled.
