I pulled out the 650 from the edge and im swapping in a 670 from an ultra. Is there a carb flage that will change the angle of the carbs so there not at such an angle? The angle enough that gas will seep from the pilot jet and flood out the motor. I had this problem with the 650 and i just modified rxl ones to work. What ones are you xcr800 edge guys useing?

ask HTG what they use since all their tripple conversions are based on the 800 XCR engines which is basically the same as an Ultra engine,both are case reed and u have a 680 not 670 buddy lol..
sorry to see u gave up on the 650

Shoulda used an RXL 650, then carb position wouldn't matter...

I found that i need carb boots from a edge 500 or 600 they had 38mm carbs and where angled like i need. The 800xcr swap uses carb boots from a edge 700 or 800 becouse they had bigger carbs 40mm.
I took out the crank in the 650 at the begining of the season and it was going to cost 400 to fix it, so a freind of mine let me use his spare till i found a good one. I picked up this ultra for a good price and said hell with the 650.
