I used to have a 600, didn't really touch it as far as mods go though. But, you can always do so. For the engine, make sure you got the thinnest head gasket on there, maybe shave the head if you want. Jet it, twin pipes possibly. Suspension, I have seen one with an M-10 but I must say it looked rediculous, so a newer yamaha pro-action would do the trick. For ski's, I always thought plastic ski's looked bad on it, but thats My opinion. To make them look good, instead of black, make them silver like the ski's on a v-max 4. they look good. Riser, I guess you could raise the bars a little, I just tilted mine up and forward for easier steering and ease on ur back. It's all on what you want to spend on it. Having a good track under you is good to that will help with fuel mileage, acceleration/decelleration etc. Some others I'm sure can be more creative, I like the sleeper look my self
