we have 2 polaris with VES engines and last year our 700 actually one value blew out and laid in the engine compartment, i put it back in and actually had the right sized wrench to tight it up, while out on the trail, and now getting them out this year i see they are lose again, and also our 600 xc has one lose, and is missing one bolt

so is it safe to use locktite on these bolts, and is there a specific torque spec or is anything good, and what sized bolt would the 600 use so i can pick one up for it

Don't overtighten them. They'll break off. That's probably worse than falling out. I'd use loctite if you're having problems. Are the threads shot?

You need the updated VES caps, the updated ones use a metal insert in bolt hole. The early ones had none and plastic would squish and go loose when hot and also leak.
