[blue][/blue] I just started riding a 2002 Viper. It runs amazing, but has one small problem. At low speeds, like basically coming from a dead stop to a crawl, it feels like the belt is slipping, or the track is skipping. I have ruled out the track skipping, so I think it must be in the clutch. Has anyone had a similar experiance, or think they know what I am talking about?

I think my viper does the same thing. When you're starting or moving very slow (2mph), every time the belt makes a revoultion it jumps a little, and you can feel it through the handlebars. I was wondering if this is normal?

yes I'm sure.

I was wondering this is just happening because the clutch is right at the engagement point

Turns out I had a burn spot on my belt that I think was causing this. When the burn spot got to the primary, the belt would slip down. I put the spare in but all the snow melted yesterday...lol. So I didn't get to try it out. Sounds like a storm's coming saturday though.
