Those HAVE to be fun to ride once you get use to it. Some of the production videos I've seen that have those readin by pros, they look WAY fun to ride. Gotta be a work out.

Ever year at haydays I look at one and drool. They are pretty heavy but I think a person would get used to them. Look like they would be a blast.

Definetely not a trail sled though, more of a boondocking sled IMO.

Thing I don't like about them is the kickstands don't have much surface area, so if you stop it'll just lay down. Which I guess isn't that bad.

As far as buying one, if I can find one a year or so out of college I may just have one sitting in my yard. [8D]

I think it would be really cool to try one out, but like others have said, I wouldn't buy one unless I had a lot of money to throw around.

400-500lbs I imagine it wasn't fun at all. However, why would you have to pick it up all the way? Could you not start to pick it up give it throttle and go? I've done this on the dirt bike quite often and even though it weighs half of that which the snowhawk does it's the same principle and being on snow should be somewhat easier.

Ya the guy on sled porn was jumpng it a good 40 feet and landing in powder. Those look like wicked fun and if I could afford one I'd buy one. Also there was some cool vids on their site and people were carving them totally on their side and getting back up.

I think those things would be amazing. It might be hard to get used to at first but it would be worth it! I would buy one in a couple years if they are still around and I have the money. Definatly not a trail rider though.

I think it would be easier to get on and go with no problems .. or not too many ... if you dirtbike or street bike. cuz you would already have the balance issue down.

Well ya you can just give it gas and lift. But when there isnt enough snow to do it.. Like if your on hard packed snow and you try that, the snowhawk will take off without you.

I found a few pics for you guys of it.

I think it would be really fun, but I wouldnt want to ride a full day on one if I had a sled too. If I made enough money to buy one just to mess around on, I would.
