Ok we went to work on my sled today. We were gonna drop 2 jet sizes and lean it out for some power. The thing is a 1996 Polaris XCR 600 SP(triple pipe agressive chasis version) and we opended it up and realized the jets were already down at 340! Stock is 400 we figured we would run like 370. This is especially surprising cause my dad has ridden it in like -40 temps full throttle and it never went pop. Now we are considering gutting the airbox, replacing clutch springs, and maybe dropping the jet again or raising the needle. We will prolly rering it seeing as that was never done and it seems no one ever really thinks to do that.
