A few of the ND crew got back last night from 3 days of riding in West Yellowstone, MT. Myself, RMK-KING, Flatlander_Summit, Blackcat, and BOS_5 all met up and made the journey. Conditions were decent...20-30*F temps every day. The third day was overcast and foggy, but we still found our way into some good areas. Some spots were somewhat hard or shallow, but in the back country we were able to find good powder.

I put 100+ miles on a 2011 Polaris RMK 800. I thoroughly enjoyed the new chassis. I had a 2010 Assault the first day, so was used to the IQ chassis. The Rush seemed much easier to throw around, pulled harder from 0-70mph, and soaked up the bumps well on the trails. Very fun sled. Only thing it needed was a little taller bar riser, but me being 6'4" doesn't help. If I had the money, I could see myself owning one.

We didn't get a whole lot of pictures, but I'll post up what I have. I think we were all having too much fun to bother stopping to get pics of each other.

Quinlan has survived 3 days in the mountains. Adios 2011 RMK...you will be missed.

I first read this and thought you totaled a new sled. Then I saw this thread and realized it was a rental you were saying goodbye to. LOL

I will have to dig out my camera tomorrow and throw up the pics that I have. Snowmobiling was fun, West Yellowstone was fun. I'm dubbing this trip "UFFDA"

Haha. I can see the confusion. The day you leave West always sucks, especially when you have good snow and a good sled. A solid week out there would be awesome, but I'd be piss poor broke in that time.

I couldn't tell you what kind of totals they have. I heard a few people say the snow is as good now as it was end of January last year.

Fun trip with a fun crew! We managed to rack up 266 miles out there,we got 6-7" of fresh the night we got there so it was good riding.

The others spent more time on the Pros RMKs then I did but they are impressive machines from what I experianced, and not very easy to get stuck. They have a strong broad powerband with no hesitations anywhere. Switching between my IQ and Pro the Pro feels lighter and more agile then the IQ with better handling in general. Doing a fast take off in deep snow my IQ trenches down as it spins and the Pro seems to just jump on top of the snow and go with its new rear skid design. I wouldnt mind one at all [thumb]

P-man, I barely survived, it was a fun week with a great crew to ride with. I don't know if Yellowstone was ready for us.

She was friendly because you bought her a blowjob shot and danced intimately with her..
