my new sled didnt come with the things at the back of the running board so im going to pick up a pair this weekend from a local snowmobile parts dealer but im not sure what they're called so please help!

i need the part on the end of the running board

You're dealer will know what you are talking about. Most likely they will have a parts diagram.

do you mean you want the one I had ( already on it for being X package ) I had 2002 MXZ X 800 , not sure if I can find pictures of it but I like it, excellent grips for your boots!

Snow skirts is the term. They are not bumper moulding since they are not on the bumper.

they may be commonly known as snow skirts, I was just saying what ski doo calls them in the part's manual.
