Snow is about to fall and I gotta get the sled done. When removing the carbides there were small bars below them and I broke the threads on one so its not re-usable. I dont know if i actually need these but i cant find new ones for sale, let alone what they are. Its an '89 indy 650 with steel skis and skins. I have a pic but I cant figure how to upload it. PLEASE HELP!!!

the only thing i can think of is you are seeing the actually carbide, when your in the full editor mode go up and hit the paper clip in tools, and go through the motions to get the picture on the post

I'm confused???

Your carbides are attached (welded/mfg.) to your wear bars/rods.
These bars have bolts on them that go through your ski and you put nuts on them to hold them to your ski.

These bars help you steer and protect your ski from wear.....

am I missing something??

Is this what your talking about???
the carbide is that litte piece that is at the bottom between the two bolts.

Ok, not to bash anyone but I know what a carbide and runner is. I removed the two bolts on the carbides and removed them. Under the carbide, secured by one bolt was this thing. I apologize that I cant upload the pic.
