if u hadnt already found out my exciter blew a piston literaly blew it up so now i am gonna rebuild it probaly with wiseco and the wiseco piston kit. it comes with all the nessacary stuff to rebuild a upper half. but i heard from a guy that wisecos are not the way to go they will break like mine did only faster. and they will seize up for corner style eaiser because the wont expand slow like the cast iron but the will expand fast before the cast iron bore so what do i do i have always used and like wisecos never any trouble is the guy giving me a bunch of bolganay or does he have a point and not go with wiseco but go with stock or pro x?

What the guy said is true about the expansion stuff... Just go real easy on them till they are warmed up, and you should not have any problems. As far as strength goes, they are stronger than cast pistons...

till the coolant lines are between warm and hot to the touch.

Sometimes it takes a while, when it's real cold out!
