I suffer the lasting effects of a whiplash injury I got almost 4 years ago during a bad plane landing. Please note: Boeing 767's fly like a dream but land like elephants. Can anyone recommend a good helmet set-up? Would wearing a racing collar be beneficial?

I agree, ask a professional, bring in a catalog, with all specs including weight. Bring in specs of several of the harnesses.

He may want to put you in rehab before putting any type of weight on your head and go bouncing around. I would assume building up your neck muscles may be a priority.

Yup. Get a high quality LIGHT helmet, and most importantly get a neck brace.
We are required to wear them in hillcross because they save you from ALOT of neck and collarbone injuries.

Thanks! That looks good. This injury is definitely going to limit what I can do on a sled. Also, my career in NASCAR is history before it even began. [:D]
