I am looking for a sled for my dad. He is 50 years old and wants to get into the sport. I ride a 99 polaris 700 and swear by it. I have had ski-doo's in the past but since this polaris I will ride nothing else. How do AC's ride compared to the SD and P. They seem to be a little cheeper in the trader?

m-10 is definitly the way to go. Another older nice sled is the indy 500. A buddy of mine has two and they ride nice.

Well he wants to spend $3000-35000 canadian. Most of the guys he will ride with are 700 or 800cc. I think that a 500 or 600 would be the best. How do cts ride compared to polaris and skidoo

never rode AC, but I would think for a newer sled in the 500 to 600 range he may need to spend a touch more.

Make sure the sled rides like a dream. Like others were saying the M-10 is the best ride I have seen. The Arctic Cats are OK as long as they have the long travel. If you are not looking to spend alot, consider the Xtra-12 suspension.
