There were two variations of the 2003 Polaris Pro-X 440.
.
.
2003 Polaris Pro-X 440 fan: As far as i know it only came in the consumor model 2003 Polaris Pro-X as a 440 fan along with the 600/700 and 800cc motors. It had Ryde-FX clicker shocks, 1" track. (it may have came with a 440 liquid motor in the style like the following pic, but if it does, ive never heard of it)-->
2003 Polaris Pro-X(r) 440: race sled for 2003, liquid cooled motor, came with walker evans clicker shocks, 1.75" track, red/black shorty seat, came from factory in race specs-ran on 110 octane, no oil injection, low gearing, very quick sleds.-->
2004 Polaris Pro-XR 440: Last year for the Edge/Pro-X(r) body style for Snowcross, very strong chassis and fast motor, red hood & black belly pan with flame graphics, steering post went over motor, instead of under for a more rider-forward feeling, had red/black shorty seat, 1.75" track, walker evans clicker shocks, fancy flame windshield, came stock race specs-ran on 110 octane, no oil-injection, etc.... -->
The 2004 Polaris Pro-XR 440 is the beast of the Polaris Pro-X line-up, best graphics, closest to rider forward that body style came, steering post over top motor, very strong chassis and rear suspention, quick motor with dragon button.
