I have a Polaris Indy. My cabin is 1/10'th of a mile up a pavement hill that is not always covered with snow. Is there any sort of wheel setup that I could put under the skiis to drive the sled on pavement for short distances so that I can park next to the cabin? How bad are short treks on pavement for the rubber track? Thanks, JH

pavement treks aren't hard on the track unless you spin it and beat on it. As for the wheel setup you could probably make like I board with wheels on it that you set under each ski to go. Kind of like sticking a roller skate on there. They make them for little kid's sleds. You can't go fast on that short distance though. Prolly not more then say 5-10 the friction will wear your rail sliders on your suspension.
